Renavique™ TorqueNode Digital Torque Adapter
The Renavique™ TorqueNode Digital Torque Adapter is a compact electronic measuring tool designed for automotive DIY users, bicycle mechanics, makers, and home workshops that need more controlled fastener tightening without replacing an existing ratchet and socket collection. TorqueNode installs between a compatible ratchet and socket, measures applied rotational force through an internal strain-sensing system, and displays the current torque as the user tightens a fastener. It is intended for assembly and maintenance tasks where simply tightening “by feel” is not precise enough, while retaining the familiar handling of a conventional manual ratchet.
🔧 Inline Torque Measurement
TorqueNode connects directly between a compatible square-drive ratchet and socket. As force is applied through the tool, the internal sensing system measures the rotational load and presents the current torque on the integrated display, allowing the user to monitor tightening without changing to a dedicated electronic wrench.
🎯 Target Torque Setting
Users can enter a desired torque value before beginning the tightening process. As the measured force approaches the selected target, the interface provides progressive visual and vibration feedback, helping the user slow down before reaching the intended setting rather than relying on a single final indication.
📳 Silent Haptic Guidance
An internal vibration motor provides tactile feedback through the ratchet when the selected torque range is approached or reached. This allows the user to remain focused on the fastener and hand position without requiring an audible alarm, speaker grille, or exposed acoustic opening.
🔄 Peak-Hold Measurement
After a tightening action, TorqueNode can retain the highest measured torque value on the display for review. This is useful when the adapter is positioned at an angle where the screen cannot be watched continuously during the final part of the tightening motion.
↔️ Selectable Measurement Units
Dedicated physical controls allow the user to switch between supported torque units and adjust target values directly on the device. The operating interface remains self-contained, avoiding the need for a smartphone or companion app during routine workshop use.
🔌 USB-C Rechargeable Design
An internal rechargeable power system eliminates a removable battery compartment near the tool interfaces. The USB-C charging connection is positioned behind a flush side cover, separate from the square-drive ends and main gripping surfaces.
TorqueNode uses a compact rectangular-puck body with reinforced metal drive interfaces projecting from opposite faces. The central electronic housing has softly chamfered corners and a fine matte outer shell, while the display sits behind a recessed dark window on the upper surface. Three low-profile controls run along one side where they can be reached without interfering with the ratchet connection. The enclosure remains visually solid, with no speaker openings, microphone holes, ventilation arrays, mesh sections, or decorative perforations.
A home mechanic can place TorqueNode between a ratchet and socket when tightening selected vehicle hardware to a specified value. A bicycle enthusiast can use the same adapter with compatible tools when assembling or servicing components where controlled tightening is important.
Renavique™ TorqueNode is designed for users who want digital torque feedback while continuing to use the manual ratchets and sockets already in their workshop.
